Firstly, we will devote the first 5 minutes to review the elemental content of body systems (digestive and respiratory systems) learned in the previous sessions during 5 minutes.
Once we have retained them in our memory with the brainstom, we are going to start learning the contents of the third session. The central topic will be the CIRCULATORY SYSTEM.
We will use the followinf video to introduce this new topic:
It is a brief explanation (3-5 minutes) of this system function. Besides being audiovisual, it exposes our heart in motion.
The teacher is going to explain the colours of veins and arteries with the white board so that the relate each color with a different concept and they won't confuse them (15 minutes). After that, the teacher will do questions about the topic and the child who answer properly will imitates the teacher (colouring the heart).
In the following 5 minutes the teacher will explain children how to count their heartbeat and then, they will do it. After that, the teacher will show students that we are full or veins and arteries with the following webpage during 15 minutes: (click on the image)

Finally, pupils will write in the diary everything they have done along the last 5 minutes.
